Third-party notices

This repository is an independent educational implementation. It does not contain code, weights, datasets, or other assets copied from Physical Intelligence.

The design is informed by the following public research artifacts:

• Physical Intelligence, “π*0.6: a VLA That Learns From Experience” (RECAP paper): https://pi.website/download/pistar06.pdf.
• Physical Intelligence, π0.6 model card: https://website.pi-asset.com/pi06star/PI06_model_card.pdf.
• Physical Intelligence, openpi, used only as a public reference for the earlier π0/π0.5 family; the inspected repository did not provide an official π0.6/RECAP training implementation or checkpoint.
• Pertsch et al., “FAST: Efficient Action Tokenization for Vision-Language-Action Models.” This project implements a small DCT-and-quantization FAST-lite teaching approximation, not the official tokenizer implementation.

Runtime dependencies retain their own licenses and copyright notices:

• Matplotlib
• PyYAML
• pytest (development only)

Users are responsible for complying with the licenses of any external data or checkpoints that they choose to supply. The default configuration points to a local manifest and does not redistribute its source images.
